Hi, I'm a Champaign resident, and one of the people who helped organize the circus protests this April. I just came across your article, and I wanted to thank you for writing and posting it here! I'm glad that our message reached you, and that you were able to realize for yourselves how much more satisfying and exciting an all-human circus would be than one in which animals are humiliated for our entertainment. And with all-human circuses, the animals are spared not only humiliation, but also the pain, loneliness, boredom, and abuse that take place behind the scenes. Thanks for your article and your support!
