Bravo to Reese and Adams! It is a very difficult undertaking you have committed yourselves to...but it will serve you well in the future to tangle with some of these issues now. It can be a painful process creating space for people of color in educational institutions, and you will face much adversity. However, you will learn and pass on to other students, some coping skills for confronting problems ethnic minority people deal with lifelong. I am encouraged to see this type of program taking shape at Uni, it is something the community at large will benefit from, I am sure. Bravo!
