This is an awesome poem, coming just hours after I saw a film called "Hungry for Profits" about agribusiness and globalization, showing Dominicans from the DR (farm laborers) as the most shriveled undernourished beings I have ever seen. i am forwarding this poem to everyone I know who was at that film or who might care.
