Nostalgic images of Hollywood actors and actresses will grace the ballroom of the Champaign Country Club this Saturday as Uni High upperclassmen and their guests celebrate prom from 8:30 to 11:45 p.m.

The Country Club is located at 1211 S. Prospect Ave. This year's theme is “The Silver Screen.” If any juniors and seniors have not purchased tickets yet but would still like to attend, they are welcome to buy tickets at the door. Tickets will be $35 for singles, $5 more than if they had been bought in advance.

Students are reminded to bring checks or cash to the dance if they plan on purchasing photos from photographer Thomas Bozada.

For a change of pace, post prom will be held at the University of Illinois Campus Rec Center-East, or CRCE (pronounced “sir-see”). Admission will be $5. Amenities of the facility include a pool, water slide, hot tub, and courts for volleyball and basketball. There is also a lounge area for watching movies and snacking.

CRCE is located at 1102 W. Gregory Dr., Urbana. Post prom will take place from midnight to 5 a.m.
