ON WEDNESDAY, DEC. 19, Uni students and faculty gathered in Uni Gym for the annual “surprise” party. They were able to let loose and enjoy the different programs that various classes had put together. Parents provided a veritable feast of veggies, fruit, baked goods, chips, juice, and soda, and everyone had a good time before going home to study frantically for finals.
The party usually takes place at the end of the last day before winter break. But this year the event was held two days earlier due to final exams being scheduled before, rather than after, the holiday break. Other highlights of the party included performances by the Uni High Madrigals, the instrumental stylings of Ethan Berl and Clement Dossin, and history teacher Chris Butler's unique reading of "The Gingerbread Man."
Does that long, hard slog between now and Agora Days have you down? Check out this slideshow and let producer Elaine Gu and narrator Anna Gooler take you back to when winter break was just two days away …
