After health teacher DeeDee Wright announced that she would be leaving Uni to accompany her husband to his new job at Colorado State University, Andi Phillips applied for vacancy and was hired. Gargoyle staff reporter Anna Gooler recently sat down with Phillips to find out about her background and see how she's doing at Uni so far.

The new school year has brought along several new teachers with it. In the absence of Elizabeth Majerus, who is currently on maternity leave, University of Illinois Ph.D. student Charlotte Davidson has stepped up to teach Native American/Chicano Literature this semester. Rachel Skoza recently spoke to her and found out more about this scholar of Native American studies.
