Skating Away

Sophomores Elizabeth Allen, left, and Amy Ding enjoy themselves Saturday, Nov. 17, during the all-school ice skating party at the University of Illinois Ice Arena. Student Council and the junior class sponsored the event as an alternative to school dances. Junior class president Isaac Chambers estimated, based on ticket receipts, that about 100 students attended. The reaction of the skaters was overwhelmingly positive.
