Audio slideshow: France 2007 edition

THIS PAST SUMMER, a number of Uni students attended foreign language and social service trips. You may have already heard about the various travels to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Spain, Italy, Japan, and France. The Gargoyle ran blogs this summer from all of them.

Led by teachers John Garvey and Lynda Lopez, the 2007 French trip took place in June, and included a one-week homestay in Evreux and two weeks of travel through Normandy and the northern coast of France. The 17 students hit Giverny, Rouen, Etretat, Bayeux, Honfleur, St. Malo, and Paris.

Carl Zielinski, Shivani Khanna, and Sarah Pfander, members of the trip, provide a more in-depth look at their three weeks of fun, complete with pictures.

Thank you all for a very nice slideshow that showed some of the important highlights of the trip (history, regional lore, language learning, incredible scenery).
