International literary magazine Cricket will publish subfreshman Dan Lilly's poem “Riddle” in its February issue. The topic of his poem is a grandfather clock. Lilly entered his poem into the November 2005 Cricket magazine poetry contest. According to his English teacher, Rosemary Laughlin: “The topic was clocks. Instructions were to deal creatively with any aspect of clocked time with form of choice from free to metric rhymed verse. The limit was 24 lines.”
