Students across the country walked out of schools Monday for the National Day of Action for Immigrant Justice. About a dozen Uni students did their part by joining a rally on the Quad during lunch. Hundreds of thousands of people demonstrated nationwide in support of immigrant rights and against HR 4437, a bill that would turn the estimated 12 million illegal immgrants in this country into felons. The photos below were taken Monday during the U of I rally.
