If you've visited the school's Web site in the last few days, you've probably noticed that it's received an overhaul.

Uni's main Web page was redesigned by the World Wide Web class this spring and launched on Thursday.

“We changed the layout because we wanted something new,” said Joel Beesley, who teaches the class. “Hopefully it will be more user friendly. All the data and information should be updated soon.”

The new look is not just spiffy and sleek; it also gives more prominence to upcoming events, providing a handy guide to people who want a quick update on what's going on at school.

“The revamped news and events section is a nice feature,” said journalism teacher David Porreca. “I hope the site will serve as a portal for readers who want to delve further into the headlines by visiting The Online Gargoyle, which is only a click away. Sorry, but I couldn't resist the plug.”

About once a year the layout is redesigned by the Web class. Click here to see the new design.
