URBANA — An audience of 90 Uni parents, students, and faculty members turned out tonight to hear Director/Principal Steve Epperson and Associate Provost Keith Marshall discuss a number of issues crucial to Uni High's future.
The occasion was the Parent-Faculty Organization's annual Spring General Meeting, held this year at the Siebel Center.
Topics covered included:
Epperson provided an overview of the survey results, while Marshall discussed a number of issues related to the director/principal search, including faculty salaries, security improvements, and building renovations.
In addition, Epperson discussed plans for a summer retreat involving parents, students, and faculty. The purpose of the retreat would be to provide another forum at which many of these issues could be discussed further.
Gargoyle senior editor Alex Zhai and assistant editor Elaine Gu attended the meeting and will publish articles about the search update (Zhai) and the survey results (Gu) in the coming days.
In the meantime, if you missed the meeting, we have the complete audio of both presentations. Just click on the boxes at right and listen.
