UNI HIGH'S ANNUAL Spring Fling will be held Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m. in the Great Hall at the Wesley Foundation, 1203 W. Green St., Urbana.

Previously intended for April 12, the dance was postponed after a scheduling conflict prevented the use of the original location, the Illini Union.

The event costs $4 at the door.

The freshman-sponsored dance will be DJ-ed by junior Natsuki Nakamura, who is also part of the dance crew (now called Tempe Fugi) that will make its first public performance at the event.

The crew, started by juniors Kareem Sayegh, Karolina Kalbarczyk, and Nakamura in an effort to raise attendance at Uni dances, will perform to “Hey Mama” by the Black Eyed Peas toward the middle of the dance.

Spring Fling is the final all-school dance of the year. (The junior-senior prom will take place May 17 at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center on the U of I campus.)

Said freshman secretary-treasurer Revathi Maturi: “It's going to be a lot of fun, and everyone should come!”
