URBANA — The Gargoyle will be on hiatus for summer break until school resumes on Aug. 20. This year's staff would like to thank everyone who visited our site in 2007-08.

Here's a reminder of some key dates for the coming school year:

• July 7-18: Uni High registration, main office
• Aug. 15: New student orientation, Uni Gym, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Aug. 17: Orientation picnic, Crystal Lake Park, 5-7 p.m.
• Aug. 18: New parent orientation, South Attic, 7-9 p.m.
• Aug. 20: First day of school
