Although May is deliciously close to the start of summer vacation, it can be a stressful month, especially for juniors trying to finish their standardized testing before next year's college apps. Elaine Gu used to dread the prospect of SATs, but recently she had a change of heart. Read on to find out why.

Preparing for standardized tests

Junior year is awfully busy.

You have to start thinking about colleges and prepare for standardized tests: PSAT, SAT, ACT, SAT II subjects, and AP tests. If this doesn’t seem a lot already, think about the activities you participate in and all the work you have to do for school.

PSATs are tomorrow

Tomorrow, the sophomore class will be practicing for a practice test of the SAT. We will be missing half of the school day to take the PSAT for the first time.

To study or not to study?
