Normal Calvary Baptist defeated Uni 4-1 in girls varsity soccer action Saturday.

Sophomore Shara Esbenshade scored for the visiting Illineks in the first half, with an assist from junior Krista Olson. Uni trailed at halftime 2-1.

The loss drops Uni's record to 1-8 overall and 1-2 against East Central Illinois Conference opponents. NCB defeated Uni 3-0 on March 28.

The Illineks host Decatur St. Teresa on Tuesday. Varsity action begins at 4:30 p.m. Uni plays its home games at the U of I Division of Campus Recreation Complex at the corner of Florida and Lincoln avenues, Urbana.
