Junior Noel Knox scored in the 61st minute with an assist by junior Holden Bucher as No. 2 seed Uni defeated No. 3 Schlarman to advance to the Class A Monticello sectional championship game. The Illineks will face Teutopolis 3:30 p.m. Monday at Monticello High School. The winner will qualify for the eight-team IHSA state tournament, which will be held Oct. 26 and 27 at North Central College, Naperville. Senior goalkeeper Isaac Radnitzer made nine saves to record his 10th shutout of the season.
