Uni Gym Makeover

Uni Gym underwent a dramatic makeover throughout November. Thanks to the generosity of the Fernandez Family, Uni alum Al Hunter (Class of 1942), and Uni's Student Council and Booster Club, the old tile floor was replaced with a new Sport Court, reducing previous concerns of slickness and uneven tiles. A new sound system and a projection screen have also been added so that commentary can be provided during games and events held at Uni Gym. 

Wednesday December 12th, Uni thanked the Fernandez family for their generosity prior to the Subfreshman game against Ludlow.  Pictured above are: Head Subfreshman Coach Rick Murphy, Mike Fernandez, Pat Fernandez, Interim Principal Dr. Steve Epperson, Director of Advancement Karen Cooley and Athletic Director Sally Walker. Al Hunter was not present for the ceremony.
