Web-based Science Department Initiatives

University Laboratory High School students and staff have been involved in a number of web-based science education initiatives. Some have been collaborative ventures including other U of I departments and entities, while others have been developed in-house. Please feel free to browse these initiatives and let us know if you use any of the education-related materials we have developed.

General Science-based Initiatives

Reed Martin (Class of 1999) was the Grand Prize Winner in Apple's Web to the Edge competition. His project is a web-based version of the MITeSAW, a technology prototype he developed with fellow seniors Amy Chew, Brian Smith and David Smyth for the 1999 NSTA/Toshiba ExploraVision competition.
