Found Poem

Choose a character (Charles, Mr. Dark, The Skeleton, etc.) or place (Library, carousel, house). Find specific descriptions of the person or place from the book. Write down the description using the exact words or phrases from the book. Then arrange those words and phrases into a poem about the person or place. Try to use only the images found in the book. If you feel you must add something for the poem to work, use as little of your own thinking as possible.

The purpose here is to create a poem that conveys something about its subject.

Bradbury’s language is rich and figurative. You should have no trouble coming up with a wonderful poem!  20 points
