Border Collie / ? Puppies

These guys were brought into the Champaign County Humane Society animal shelter yesterday by an animal rescue group from southern Illinois. Mom is a purebred border collie. Dad is unkmown. They are estimated to be two months of age. Not yet available to the public, but I can arrange a special visit [Dave Stone, (217) 643-7622] if you or someone you know might be interested in one of them and would like to visit before they are moved to the adoptables.

 Greg

Very pleasant. A smidge more submissive than sister Irma, but right behind her in the drive, toy orientation and enthusiasm department. Nice focus. Cuddly as can be.

 Jane

Smallest. Laid back but friendly. Mildest of the bunch. Only one with a full white collar and it appears that she may be blue and white rather than black and white. I don't have as much of a sense of her as the others since she slept through my first visit. I think it was long early morning drive to the shelter.

 Heather

More coat than anyone else. Very pretty pup. Temperament similar to sister Jane. The two spots on her side are spots on my camera lens.

 Katelyn

Very similar to brother Greg in toy interest. She was busy keeping the other pups in line at the food bowl when I was taking the pictures. A close third in the sociability department behind sister Irma and brother Greg.

 Irma

Always the first one to you when you come into the kennel and the fastest one to the ball when you roll one. Would rather sleep on your lap or at your feet than with the rest of the puppies.

My pick as a performance prospect.

Food cart going by!

Done eating now!

Jane (upper right corner) again appears to be a blue in the picture.
