Oreo is in need of a new home. She and another puppy were found last month, running loose at the Middle Fork Forest Preserve in east central IL. We don't know anything about her in terms of past background. She is estimated to be 4.5 to 5 months of age.

She is 1) outgoing, 2) very social and appropriately submissive, 3) has an excellent, very enthusiastic retrieve, 4) has an excellent recall, and 5) gets along very well with other dogs.

Newly spayed, Oreo is currently at the Champaign County Humane Society in Urbana, IL. Please feel free to pass this on to other individuals who you think might be a good match for Oreo. Oreo is one nice little dog. Moderate drive. Nice, enthusiastic retrieve. VERY cuddly and outgoing. VERY responsive. Pictures were taken July 15, 2002 at the Champaign County Humane Society. Oreo might be a nice pet for someone who inadvertantly throws things! This will give you a sense of her structure and attitude, I hope.
